    EPAP Activation in GA, TN, and NC

    • On October 10, the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) activated the Emergency Prescription Assistance Program (EPAP) for certain counties in Georgia. A list of those 57 counties and covered ZIP codes can be found here. 
      • There are 2,103 EPAP enrolled pharmacies in Georgia. Eligible people can find their pharmacy or a pharmacy near them through the EPAP Enrolled Pharmacies locator. 
      • EPAP has been activated in Georgia through November 30, 2024.
    • On October 5, ASPR activated EPAP for certain counties in Tennessee. A list of those 8 counties and covered ZIP codes can be found here. 
      • There are 1,437 EPAP enrolled pharmacies in Tennessee. Eligible people can find their pharmacy or a pharmacy near them through the EPAP Enrolled Pharmacies locator. 
      • EPAP has been activated in Tennessee through November 2, 2024.
    • On October 4, ASPR activated EPAP for certain counties in North Carolina. A list of those 25 counties and covered ZIP codes can be found here.
      • There are 1,967 EPAP enrolled pharmacies in North Carolina. Eligible people can find their pharmacy or a pharmacy near them through the EPAP Enrolled Pharmacies locator.
      • EPAP has been activated in North Carolina through November 29, 2024.
    • EPAP assists people in federally identified disaster areas, who do not have health insurance, to get prescription drugs, vaccines, durable medical equipment, and other medical supplies that are necessary for the continuity of care. 
      • Eligible people can receive a 30-day supply of their medications - free of charge. Pharmacies are required to dispense the generic form of medication unless indicated as Brand Medically Necessary. Prescription refills are permitted every 30 days, free of charge, as long as EPAP is still activated.
      • Eligible people can figure out whether their prescription or medical supplies are covered by EPAP by calling Express Scripts at 1-855-793-7470 or by checking the list of items covered by EPAP here.
